If you know a group we should speak to about health care, contact Marilyn Schmidt (248-674-3520) or Claudia Seldon (313-393-9329). They can also put you on our list of speaker "trainees" to go along with an experienced speaker.

Information Tables:

A chance to talk one-on-one with interested people. Do you know of an event ( conference, meeting, bazarr, etc.) where we might be able to set up a table with our eye- catching/thought provoking display and literature? Want to help staff a table? Contact Pat Cason (313-893-7435).

We're in the Citizen:

MichUHCAN has been asked to make regular contributions to the Michigan Citizen, a great new opportunity to spread the word about what's happening in health care and the need for a rational single payer system. If you would like to write for the column or if you have ideas for topics, Contact Rita Brocke (313-861-8877).

Each month we update you on MichUHCAN's latest activities and efforts, share important educational pieces, keep you abreast of what's going on in health care around Michigan, and offer you ways to get involved and take action to make health care accessible and equitable for all. Regular Meetings

The Detroit chapter of MichUHCAN meets the first Thursday of each month (or the second Thursday if it is necessary to move the date) at First United Methodist Church of Berkley, 12 Mile Road, two blocks west of Coolidge. WE NEED YOUR INPUT. PLEASE JOIN US.

We also need your membership dues.

Individual membership dues are $15.00 per year.
Organizational dues are $50.00 per year.

If you haven't paid your membership in the last year or if you've never officially joined MichUHCAN, please do so as soon as possible. We need your support to keep working towards quality health care for all!
